As EEC has begun to transition into the fall months, we are working harder than ever on projects. If you are looking to get involved, make sure to sign up for some of the last Vedgewater Community Garden events for this season or volunteer on the last Beach Stewardship day, and make sure to stay up to date with everything EEC.

October Meeting Highlights
In our last meeting, we discussed current campaigns and some new ones regarding objecting plans to prevent coal mining in southern Illinois and bikeablity and walkability of schools. We also discussed current plans regarding increasing artificial nighttime light in Catalpa Plaza and how EEC plans to tackle this challenge as we reinvigorate our campaign to fight light pollution.
