About the Event

Extend plant growth with tips from Karen. Interested in sharing your passion with children? Parents and children are welcome to participate in a hands-on activity. Bring portable chairs and notebooks to take notes. 🌿 Karen Schauwecker is a Master Gardener, a member of The Ruby Garden, and has organized people to grow food in urban and rural settings. She is a Student Engagement Manager, Loyola School of Environmental Sustainability who has worked with the food access program Link Up to partner with Farmers’ Markets in Chicago.
